1 Corinthians 15:9-10, "For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. verse 10: But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me"
There were two Paul's. The old, sinful Paul and the new, born-again Paul. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, there are two "you's" also. There was the old and now the new, the sinful you and the righteous you.
You can say with confidence, I am what I am. It is true and not because of anything you have accomplished in life, you are what you are because of God's grace. Here is how you can more clearly define, "I am what I am" . . . . .

Colossians 1:2......................I am qualified to share in His inheritance.
Revelation 21:7.....................I am victorious.
Romans 6:2,11......................I am dead to sin.
